associate, baccalaureate, or higher
degree from a qualified college or university. The KirkwoodWebster Groves branch,
founded in 1971, is one of six branches in the St. Louis area.

Sept. 6 (Saturday)—We're walking and volunteering at the League of Women Voters "Yellow Umbrella Event" for voter registration at St. Louis University, 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11 (Thursday)—"Issues Forum and AAUW: What's it all about," 7 p.m., Oak Bend Branch Library, 842 S. Holmes (south of I-44 at Big Bend).
Oct. 9 (Thursday)—Speaker on domestic violence: Jane Palmer, Executive Director of RAVEN, meeting begins 6:30 p.m., program at 7 p.m., Maplewood Public Library, 7550 Lohmeyer Ave. 63143.
Nov. 4 (Tuesday)—Election night party, home of Marsha Koch, 7:00 p.m.
Jan. 14 (Wednesday)—Shanti Parikh, PhD, Washington University: The Current Political Climate in Africa and Its Impact on African Women, 7:00 p.m., Oak Bend Branch Library, 842 S. Holmes (south of I-44 at Big Bend).
